How to Measure My Kitchen's Linear Feet
Getting your kitchen's total linear feet is not
difficult by any means. We have outlined the all of
the steps and a few things you may not have considered below
-
1. Measure your kitchen's length and width.
It is important to note that you should measure
from the wall to the end of the counter. You
should also include the distance over appliances,
including the fridge.
-
2. If you have an island, you only need to measure
the footage of the longest side. However, if the
shorter side is greater than 3 feet, multiply the
longest side by 2, and add that number into the total.
-
3. Add all your measurements together, and that is
your total linear feet.
